Thousands of dollars and many, many hours were spent on the restoration and build of this RARE Beauty! I say VERY RARE as they only built 27,443 Super Sport Convertibles in 1965! We just purchased this Impala Super Sport from the previous older Washington State owners and as you can tell it was their pride and joy for sure! This Impala still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL. t the heart of this RARE BEAUTY is the VERY STRONG! - GROUND POUNDING - Code " IV" - " BIG BLOCK" 396 CID " Turbo-Jet" V8 (325 Horsepower from the factory!) motor that is running VERY well indeed.

The motor also sports an Edelbrock Performance Aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL STYLE exhaust manifolds, Chrome valve covers, MSD Ignition, Chrome "396 Turbo-Jet" scripted air cleaner housing and an Edelbrock Performance 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke. Sounds GREAT too with the THROATY true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - THM-400 Three speed - " Turbo Hydra-Matic" - automatic transmission that also functions well.
