1936 Fiat 500 Topolino Coupe for Sale
History: I believe my Grandfather purchased the car in the early 70âs from a friend of his in Santa Barbara, CA. He was an avid collector and restorer, but it took over 40-years into his ownership until this Topolino was restored. Unfortunately, he has since passed away and as the current caretaker of the car, I have decided to sell this beauty. I would regard this restoration as well done; the paint and bodywork are very nice, the interior is spectacular, and the fit and finish is to a high standard. Mechanically, the car runs and drives very well (although I driven the car less that 10-miles since it was completed). Following consultation with the president of the Topolino registry, I were told some details are not factory spec. (fasteners, etc. ), but I believe that complete originality was not the main focus of my grandfathers vision for this car - it was meant to be beautiful, thus if a polished stainless bolt could be used, it was. That being said, Iâm sure many of the details that are currently 100% original are easily correctable, should that be the new owners desire.
