1950 Harley-Davidson FL Panhead Pristine Black for Sale
Time to sell my very clean and original 1950 Harley-Davidson FL Panhead. The first thing, when I bought it was paint right over the original Riviera Blue paint, but at least I used original Harley-Davidson Brilliant Black. It shows very well and has a great patina that only 40+ years of riding will give you, and if you're so inclined you can take a look up under the rear fender and see the original riviera blue. Over the years the original stainless steel rocker tins were replaced with chrome ones and the original bars, luggage rack, and headlight housing we're sent to the chrome shop. Fortunately other than that this bike is very original, with all its correct sheetmetal and trim pieces intact, including original front fender trim and sergeant stripes on the rear. Motor and transmission were both rebuilt in the early 2000's and were the only time they've ever been apart, all original hardware on the engine and has the correct early -50 model year M-45 Linkert carb. Correct date code on transmission, and motor has unaltered vin and matching belly numbers. Cherry, uncut and original date coded 1950 frame with all tabs and mounts intact. Bike runs and rides great, shifts smoothly, and stops as good as any drum brake Harley will. Clean and clear title!
